If you have multiple Roku accounts or devices, you might have a Roku PIN for one account or device, but not for all. This means someone might have made a purchase using your account or device without a PIN set up.
To keep track of purchases, parental controls, and other info, Roku suggests linking all Roku devices to one Roku account. This way, you avoid having multiple accounts. With one Roku account, you can also sync multiple devices so that apps installed on one device automatically appear on all the others.
Subscriptions purchased directly from a streaming service don’t have Roku PIN protection. Your Roku PIN only allows you to control purchases made through Roku.
You can find out which subscriptions were purchased directly through Roku by checking your Roku account. Many streaming services provide extra ways to protect you from unauthorized purchases: contact the service directly to learn more.
