How to use your credit from Roku
How do I use my credit?
As a thank you for being a Roku customer, Roku and our partners may offer credit as part of some promotions. Credit can be used toward eligible purchases, such as new subscriptions, subscription auto-payments and renewals, movie rentals, and products sold on roku.com.
Unlock your credit by following the instructions you receive for the promotion. Your credit will be added to your Roku account and ready for use.
Use your credit to finally start that show you need a subscription to watch, rent that movie you’ve been meaning to see, or get a new streaming device for your other favorite TV. Your credit will be automatically applied to your next eligible purchase through Roku.
Note: Eligible purchases exclude purchases billed through third parties, including but not limited to Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube TV, and Apple TV. See terms for more details.
How do I see how much credit I have?
View your credit on your TV or Roku device or by signing in to your Roku account:
Sign in to my.roku.com. Your credit balance will appear at the top.
From the Home screen of your TV, go to Settings > Payment method.
In the Roku mobile app, go to Account > Payments & subscriptions.
Does credit expire?
Credit expires in one of two ways: either by the date provided in connection with the promotion or 24 months from the date the credit is made available in your Roku account.
Why do I need to add a payment method?
If you don't already have a payment method on file when you redeem your credit, we ask you to add one to make sure you have enough funds to complete the transaction. If the applicable transaction amount is less than your available credit, any remaining credit will be available for future eligible purchases. If your available credit is less than the applicable transaction amount, your payment method on file will be charged for the difference.
