How do I use the Apple TV channel on my Roku streaming device?
The Apple TV channel is now available on select Roku® streaming players and Roku TV™ models. You can access your library of shows and movies, and find new programs to stream, buy, or rent. This article will help you determine if your Roku device is compatible, help you sign into the channel and stream content, and learn about Apple TV +.
Is my Roku device compatible?
All Roku TVs support the Apple TV channel. However, not all Roku streaming players support the Apple TV channel. To help determine if your device in your country is compatible, you need to know the device model. To find this information, go to the home screen on your Roku device and select Settings > System > About. The models below support the Apple TV channel.

How do I add the channel?
You can add the Apple TV channel to your compatible Roku player or Roku TV using the steps below.
Press the Home button on your Roku remote.
Scroll up or down and select Streaming Channels to open the Channel Store.
Select Search Channels.
Begin entering Apple TV. Search results will narrow as you type.
Note: If Apple TV does not appear, it may not be supported on your Roku device.
When you see the channel, use the directional pad on your Roku remote to highlight Apple TV.
Press the OK button to view details.
Select Add Channel.
Once installed, the Apple TV channel will appear in the list of channels under Home on the main screen of your Roku device. If you prefer, the channel can be moved elsewhere in the list.
Before you can sign into the Apple TV channel, you must have an Apple ID. Use the instructions below to sign in with your existing Apple ID, or learn how to create a new Apple ID.
Launch the Apple TV channel.
Select Settings.
Select Accounts.
Select Sign In.
Two sign-in options appear on your TV.
Choose Sign In On Mobile Device to sign in using your smartphone. You can either navigate to activate.apple.com and enter the code displayed on your TV, or scan the QR code that appears. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the sign in process.
Or, you can choose Sign In On This TV and enter your Apple ID directly on your TV screen using your Roku remote.
If you do not have an Apple ID, select Create an Apple ID. You can either navigate to activate.apple.com and enter the code displayed on your TV, or scan the QR code that appears. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the sign up process. You will be signed in automatically once you are finished.

How do I stream movies and TV from Apple TV?
In the Apple TV channel, you can:
Select a category to browse available content
Select Library to view content you already own
Select Search if you know what you are looking for
Scroll through the available titles and select one you like
Select Buy or Rent
If prompted, enter your Apple ID password to complete your purchase.
Select Play to begin playing the content.
What is Apple TV +?
Apple TV + is an exciting new streaming service that is coming soon from Apple. It will be available on the Apple TV channel and will offer original TV shows and movies across every genre. For more details, check out apple.com.
