How to access your Roku account if you forgot your email address or password

If you're having trouble signing in to your Roku® account, you can regain access by requesting a password reset to the email associated with your Roku account.

What to do if you forgot your Roku password

If you've forgotten your password, you can have a password reset email sent to the email address associated with your Roku® account. If you don’t get the email, check your spam, junk, or similar folders and make sure that you’re using the correct email address.
  • Go to Forgot password, enter your email and select Submit
  • Roku will send a password reset email (valid for one hour) with a link (if it doesn't open automatically, copy and paste the link into your browser)
  • Enter new password on the Create password page
  • Select Submit
  • Once complete, return to my.roku.com and sign in with your new password

What to do if you forgot what email you used

If you don’t remember what email you used to set up your Roku account, you can find it through your Roku streaming device or through your Roku Smart Home app.

On your Roku streaming device:

  • Press Homehome button on Roku remote on your Roku remote
  • Scroll and select Settings
  • Select System
  • Select About to view your email address

From your Roku Smart Home app:

  • Open the Roku Smart Home app
  • Go to Account
  • Tap on the account section toward the top to find the email address for your Roku account

If you no longer have access to the email associated with your Roku account, please follow the link below to connect to our support team.
